Thorn Lighting

For a product video about floodlighting you need two things: darkness and a stadium. We took the biggest one Germany has to offer, Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund.

The floodlights there are made by Thorn. The film shows what they deliver when it counts: from the air, the stadium lies like a glowing island in the night; on the pitch, every movement is clear to see. At its best, you don’t notice good floodlighting at all. You simply see the game.

That is exactly what makes it so hard to film. And so satisfying when it works.
