About the project
Electronics manufacturers’ warehouses often hold more than is needed: components that were ordered but never used. Somewhere else in the world, at the same time, someone is looking for exactly those parts.
The platform chips.ac, now greenchips.com, brings the two sides together. It helps OEM and EMS companies sell excess inventory worldwide. How that works is hard to film, because there is very little to see. So we drew it.
The animated film explains step by step how the platform works, and makes technology that runs behind the scenes easy to grasp at first glance.
